It is irritating at times that I do so many female characters...but this one as always speaks to me the most....
And she really is starting to piss me off XD
There's always so much that I forget about her though.  One thing being the fact that she was once a mother.  Her children have since gone their own ways but it's brought a sort of fearless almost recklessness to her in her later years and while she was shy in her teens she was quite the beast as a kid.  At this point in her life she's resigned herself to her body and her moods.  She knows where her heart sits on most things and refuses to budge yet she can also accept that which can't be change.
I almost feel like an outsider looking in when it comes to Yukari even though I was the one to create her.  She's taken on quite the personality and individuality that I'd desired.

Dreams have always been something that has interested me. Both what they mean to each person in particular and what they can mean as a whole.
I also enjoy the idea that they're our nightly chance to peer into an alternate reality.
But what if that reality then started to butt into ones day time hours? Slowly allowing you to glimpse maybe not the reality of someone you thought you knew but perhaps just a sliver of their potential as a person both good and ill. Just a flicker mind you. Something that you'd shrug off as your imagination the first time till eventually those glimpses become longer and longer till in the end you can't ignore what you're seeing or how it affects your day to day quality of life.
Frankly the idea of such happenings creeps me out as much as it interests me.
Enough so that I've been tossing around ideas for short comics that are loosely based around my childhood years spent wandering the woods near my home and perhaps with someones(ya someone who's more writer then I) a more long term story line with other characters.
With todays more modern society maybe it's the idea that this alternate reality is where the more mythical aspects of our lives now live? Ogres, brownies and perhaps even the king and queen of the Fae themselves.
Or perhaps it's something even darker then that?
Either way it leaves a lot of room for ideas.
Maybe even each person has their own private alternate reality. After all normalcy is relative is it not? So why not what some might term insanity?
